Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on December 2nd 1981. Her most notable role is in TV as well as in films. After beginning her acting career with The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came in the form of her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in numerous television series in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens The actress began her career as a model, appearing in ads and commercials. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel began when she began working in retail and recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was cast in an New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her first big appearance was in 2021 when she played the role of a slave-girl Naevia on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia has also been played by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing a bounty-hunting demon named Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix hit show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. In this show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
