Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was not happy with the quality of her performance compared with the other students at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the group before they appeared in I.T.V's talent program New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. The album came out in 1992. This album became a huge achievement, both in terms of sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in the month of October 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. After a brief recognition as part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 through her debut album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and the song Why.
